Sanatana dharma is anadi, (without beginning) and also a-paurusheya, without a human founder. It is beyond time, both immanent and transcendent. Sanatana dharma is experience based rather than belief-based system. It is God-cantered rather than prophet-centred.
Sanatana dharma teaches how to live in this world while above the world. Sanatana dharma is Inherent in, and inclusive of all. It adheres to universal brotherhood and friendliness based on the Vedic dictum “Sarva dharma, sama bhava (Yajur Veda)” which means all human beings are of one’s race. It teaches to love all and excluding of none.
The motto is “Aathmano moksharth jagath hitaaya ca” i.e. For one’s own liberation and wellbeing of the universe.
